This is more of a rant than anything, but it's a topic of discussion.
Nothing is worse in the fighting game community than being told you don't deserve to play a fighting game because you're a "casual scrub" and every time someone says "casual gamers will ruin fighting games", I want to smash their teeth in. The reason? People are already saying that Tekken 7's fighting engine is going to be bad. Why? Because it looks "too easy" to some of these people. Too easy? TOO EASY?!! Okay... Let me get something straight, you bastards.
You think a game is going to be bad because it is going to be "Too Easy"? What the fuck gives you the idea that Tekken is going to be EASY in the first place? Tekken has always been about precision and timing, so what makes you think it's going to change now? Oh, all because there are going to be juggles in the game? Really? Juggles? Seriously? We're going to hate on a Tekken game just because it has juggles? Haven't those been in Tekken since Tekken 3? Why is it all of a sudden a huge problem, and a deal breaker for some of these retards? Why are juggles such a bad fucking mechanic in the first place, since they've been there since Tekken 3? Also, I am currently arguing with a tourney vet on this, but what's wrong with a game easing up its mechanics to be a LITTLE more accessible to those who want to play Tekken, but couldn't because it was too hard?
I have talked to people on this, and the two biggest reasons I get for why they don't play Tekken are:
1) It's too hard.
2) The community in Tekken is made up of a bunch of assholes who complain every time a fighting game has a bigger audience all because it's easier to play (Tekken Tag 2 is a primary example of pick-up-and-play, but with plenty of challenge, and a lot to master, just so we're clear).
Coincidence? I think NOT! I do not see what is so wrong about opening up a game franchise to a bigger audience. Yet, all these hardcore veterans think it's wrong for a fighting game to be easier to play. God forbid a fighting game have a bigger audience because, and no, I'm not shitting you on this, "Casuals WILL ruin the game, because either you'll lose to a complete amateur or you'll win so much, it won't be fun anymore". Are you ready for my response? You ready? YOU READY?! BULLSHIT! The very notion of this statement existing is bullshit in and of itself. If you're losing to a complete amateur, how can you tell? You're the one obviously making the mistakes, and unless they're spamming the same move over and over and over again, you've got NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN! You lost. Plain and simple. You lost because if that so-called amateur won, YOU'RE the one making the mistakes you shouldn't be fucking making in the fucking first place. YOU'RE the one messing up, so why complain? You lost fair and square, provided the other player didn't spam, or had some semblance of skill.
Also, if you're winning all the time, then it's because you're not setting your rank parameters high enough. Fight higher ranks, and I guarantee you'll start losing.
FINALLY, fighting games should not be about casuals versus the hardcore vets. They should be about FUN, and sharing your experiences with others and just plain having a damn fun time! This war of casuals versus the hardcore players needs to stop, and it's only damaging the fighting game community. This attitude of "casual scrubs" not being allowed to play fighting games because of some unwritten rule is bullshit, and is keeping those who show interest in fighting from actually playing them. This is why I hate this attitude. It's an intimidation tactic and shows nothing more than "It's MY game and YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY". If you're going to be like that, YOU'RE the one who shouldn't be playing. You're no better than a two-year-old who doesn't want to share his toys because they're his, and he's the only one allowed to play with them. That kind of attitude shows how immature you are and hurts the fighting game community.
So, to those who hate certain fighting games because "casuals are ruining your fun"... Fuck you. If anything, YOU'RE the ones who shouldn't be playing.
TL;DR: People who complain about accessibility need to stop playing fighting games because their attitude is more equivalent to a selfish toddler who won't share his toys. Their reasoning is bullshit, as well.
It's been too long since I have been on this profie. Anyway... You know how I've supposedly been busy all that time? Well, I have... But you know... God... I have no idea what to say here, now that I feel like since my other profile has had ZERO luck with anything, I'm forced to use this one. It sucls, but oh well. Anyway... Yeah... Here. Splatoon fan art:
...And all I can do is just cringe at how terrible the art was, how terrible my attitude was... Ugh... I cannot believe that when I was 21 I was still acting like a 13 year old girl. No wonder it took me so long to lose my virginity...
I can only hope that I do not fall into that trap again.
Okay. No one showed any interest in the forums. And you know what? I don't have any money right now. Er...Well... Enough to pay a full salary anyway. I mean, as if this damn thing was going to make money. I only want to collaborate to make an animation for fun, and to get something on everyone's resumes. All I want is to collaborate with people to help make a cartoon. A dark cartoon, yeah, but a cartoon nonetheless. It WILL be a fun project, I can promise you that! Even if none of us are making any money, some of you who are struggling to find an animation job out there, you will be properly credited, and I will give you enough material as a reference to guarantee you get hired!
And besides. I think this project has more than enough merit to get the green light, but I need help. I need some volunteers who are willing to help a guy out who wants to make something. Not an expensive something, nor a something that will make a profit. Just a something that will see the light of day and that will give all of us a sense of achievement. Yes, I wish I could just pay you, and I clearly didn't go about offering with a steady enough pay from my own job to pay you guys, and I don't even know how to start a kickstarter. But, I do know how to collaborate. I am currently working on the Episode 1 script for Vanguard, and I am working on character designs, weapon designs, the story-line, and when push comes to shove, I will even take charge of coordinating auditions.
So, please. It may be volunteer work, but at least it will be fun. I am going to be working just as hard as the rest of you, and when I get the ball rolling with promotional artwork, and get done with all of my character sketches, and I do mean ALL of them, this project will have stirred enough interest to get the green-light. However, I need you guys to do it. So, it's time to put your selfishness aside and to just help a guy out. That would be pretty fucking awesome!
Here's an idea that I have had in mind for a while now.
It's called VANGUARD. A quick summary, and an offer for the lucky animator who will receive the script in due time follows.
The story goes that modern day pirates operate everywhere. Whether it be the East China Sea, the seas of Somalia, the shores of Venezuela, or even the Carribean. Enter the Vanguard, a small crew of pirates dedicated to killing any unlucky mother fuckers who happen to cross their path. The hot-headed, duel blade wielding Madelyn, the sniper and optimistic markswoman Rosa, and the fiery duel-pistol totin' badass Delila all have their stories to tell in this epic that deals with drugs, weapon trafficking, piracy, mafia lords, etc. And no, they're not the heroes. They're the people who are hired help to aid said drug trafficking, weapons deals, and multiple crime syndicates around the world.
Now for the offer. I will be working on concept art for the characters, some of the vehicles and weapons featured, and with a payment of $100 per 10 minute episode, together, we can create a great animation that will push the boundaries of decency. Violence, sex, drugs, and a dark storyline that will keep audiences hooked, how can you refuse? After all, this is a pretty badass idea if I say so myself. Hit me up with any offer after several weeks, because by that time, I will have at least 25% of the concept art done, which should be adequate for the first two episodes. With that, I bid you adieu for now.

When it comes to criticism, I watched a few videos by ForeverPandering about Andrew Dobson (a.k.a. Tom Preston), and man... I do NOT want to be like him. Nuh-uh. If anyone has any valuable information, I will sit patiently and listen/read what you have to say. Please, do NOT hesitate to critique my work. I would love to have your very valuable opinions and advice on my artwork.
Thanks, Newgrounds. You really are FUCKING Awesome.
Work has been taking a lot out of me. Frankly, DeviantART is not giving me the support I need in terms of views, so I'm going to try and update my portal for the first time in forever. So, yeah...
Well, here's to trying!
It turns out, I'm not gay! I didn't get aroused to drawing this, and I feel comfortable enough with my own gender to actually draw him. His name is Alexander, and like Elyria, he feeds off of sex. Sex with dudes, women, like Elyria, he has to be having sex with someone, either plowing or being plowed to become sustained.
I am new here. I am SinCOMIXXX. I would appreciate a warm welcome, but however you view me will be completely based on how I treat you, I assume. I promise to a good little sinner here on Newgrounds, and I sincerely hope we get along...Sinfully...By the way, have a tasty treat in the form of my character, Elyria, who will be providing 95% of the entertainment on this page.
